Meet the Owner
Jeff Mitchell always had an eye for design, first inspired by his grandfather, the late Charles Kolar, a well-known St. Louis custom home remodeler and commercial builder and also by his mother Kathy Arnold (click the link to visit her webpage.) Kathy Arnold is a specialized painting and general contractor in St. Louis. Jeff shared his family’s talent and was motivated while still in high school to start his own business after working on construction jobs with his mother. At the age of 15, Jeff started a car detailing business with the assistance of one of his early mentors, Marvin Gelber, a well-known St. Louis real estate mogul. At the age of 17, Jeff expanded into holiday lighting. Jeff Mitchell Lighting quickly grew from a holiday lighting company to a landscape lighting company as well. Jeff has completed many regional and national level projects. Jeff is passionate about his business and is excited about many new things in the works. Stay tuned.
